A free community fishing derby will be held in Lake Zurich in honor of the late Dick Schick, a longtime resident and former community teacher who organized the event for 24 years.

All participants must register before beginning to fish. Registration is free. Fishing starts at 9 a.m., and in order to be eligible for prizes, fish must be registered by 11:29 a.m.
