Floral Inspired Nuno Scarf Workshop at Chicago Botanic Garden

Create a piece of wearable art with a wet felting technique called nuno, which is Japanese for "cloth." You will use a silk scarf base and paint a floral design onto the ends of the scarf with wool. Then, using soap, water and agitation, gently fuse the fibers into the fabric for a sheer, beautiful piece perfect for a summer ensemble. All materials included

Natasha Lehrer Lewis, fiber artist and educator, Esther's Place Fiber Arts Studio
