Gale Gand is an American pastry chef, cookbook author and television personality. She has served as executive pastry chef at several high-end restaurants across the United States and is a recipient of multiple James Beard Foundation Awards. The Joyful Gourmet is honored to welcome her back as she shares her culinary expertise and passion for teaching.
In this demonstration-style class, Gand will guide guests through a French-inspired menu featuring cod Provençal with tomatoes, capers and olives; ratatouille, a classic stewed vegetable dish with zucchini, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, onions, herbs and olive oil; and a fresh apricot and ground almond tart for dessert. Tastes will be provided throughout the class.
