The Woman, Life, Freedom Film Festival will open Thursday, Sept. 18, at Wayfarer Theaters, with an encore screening scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21.

Hosted by the Association of Iranian Film and Theatre Artists Abroad, the annual festival celebrates the resilience and creativity of women through independent cinema. Featuring powerful narratives that spotlight women’s struggles and achievements, the event promotes freedom of expression, gender equality and the voices of marginalized artists.

The festival invites both filmmakers and audiences to engage with transformative stories that inspire change and solidarity in the fight for liberation.
