The Winter Lighting Celebration kicks off the holiday season on Friday, December 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Village Hall. The event will feature live ice sculpting, tractor rides and performances by the Deerfield High School Choraliers and Frozen Robins. Guests can enjoy roasted chestnuts and complimentary treats while Mayor Shapiro lights up Village Hall.

Live ice sculptor: 5 to 8 p.m.
Deerfield High School Choraliers performance: 5 to 5:45 p.m.
Mayor Shapiro lights Village Hall: 5:45 p.m.
Frozen Robins: 6 to 7 p.m.
Tractor wagon rides: 5 to 8 p.m., running continuously
Winter Market The Winter Market will be held Saturday, December 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Patty Turner Center. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, retail and craft booths, non-profit charities, food vendors, children’s activities and holiday festivities. The market highlights unique gifts while supporting local artisans, restaurants and organizations. The Winter Market is presented by the Village of Deerfield.
